Why did I start blogging? This question has been asked of me numerous times since the beginning of this journey. Starting a blog was a natural progression, driven by my deep passion for writing and sharing my thoughts with others. Even as a little girl, I used to jot down my thoughts on a piece of paper and scatter them all over my bedroom. Little did I know that it was my way of coping with anxiety back then. Writing became my outlet, especially since I didn’t have many people to confide in at the time. My sisters had left home by the time I was just 10, and my second oldest sister, who lived with me, was quite reserved. My mom worked tirelessly to provide for us, and my dad wasn’t very present, which is not an uncommon story. So, writing became my comfort.
As I grew older, I realized that writing wasn’t just a way to cope; it was my way out, my path to feeling free, and a means that helped me become a better version of myself. It became apparent that through blogging, I could reach out and connect with like-minded individuals who share similar interests and experiences. My aim was also to inspire and help others by sharing valuable insights, tips, and knowledge on various topics.
Blogging also allows me to document my journey and personal growth, creating a digital diary. It’s an exciting way to challenge myself, improve my writing skills, and explore new perspectives. Moreover, I find fulfillment in the thought that my words could resonate with others, providing ideas and knowledge about travel, fashion, and various aspects of life.
In essence, blogging has become an outlet for self-expression, a means to contribute positively to the online community, and an opportunity to grow both as a writer and as an individual.
